Groups create a collaborative research document exploring a specific character archetype or motif and synthesize the information they find, illustrating their essay with a variety of examples. Each student contributes a Webspiration chart of a specific example to add a visual element to the presentation page.

The Hero Journey
Students analyze a hero story using Joseph Campbell's monomyth structure and create a Webspiration chart to illustrate the stages of the hero journey.
Students write and produce audio-casts of dialogues between two characters from Genesis modeled after Bill Cosby's "Noah" pieces. The dialogues arise from the analysis of a famous painting or two featuring the characters and analysis of the text.
